_{Lab created gemstones are chemically identical to natural gemstones, however are created under controlled conditions in a laboratory. The upside is the stones are colour controlled and flawless, the downside is some aren't as valuable as their natural counterparts. Sapphires for example must have inclusions (imperfections) to be classed as more valuable, because they distinguish each sapphire from another. This is lab created, utterly flawless, perfect colour, but not the only one of its kind.
Lab created, versus natural is a matter of preference.}

Me? i prefer perfectly matched richly coloured perfection, than being able to say "mined from such and such a place."
